ABOUT OIKOS COPENHAGEN
oikos Copenhagen is a student-led youth organisation. Our mission is to shape society by enabling students and young professionals to be responsible and regenerative leaders.
We want to co-create inspirational moments, transformative experiences, encouraging communities and opportunities for perpetual growth. We seek to break with the sentiments of "business as usual", as we channel interdisciplinarity, diversity and inclusion to accelerate us into a just and sustainable future.
Every degree matters and we see interdisciplinary as one of the main enablers for sustainable development. For that reason, we welcome students from all universities in the Copenhagen area to join our organisation.
We leverage 20 years of existence, network and relationships and channel them into our projects. Our shared values of community, commitment and collaboration guide us in all our activities to achieve a positive impact.

As a community, we share a purpose of working towards sustainability. Our community enables us to share and support the perpetual growth of each other, ourselves, and our environment. Together we can touch every part of society: from personal awareness to systemic change.
As a community, we engage actively in our surrounding communities on campus, in business and in society. Solving the climate crisis requires an interdisciplinary approach. Hence, we engage in diverse communities and invite people from all backgrounds into ours. That way, we create a network of changemakers to explore novel opportunities beyond boundaries and thought patterns to steer towards a sustainable future.

We provide a platform where students, academia, business, government, and NGOs collaborate for a sustainable future. We seek to channel interdisciplinary competencies and diverse backgrounds into innovative and actionable solutions to solve the climate crisis and mitigate its effects. MEET THE TEAM
At oikos Copenhagen, we bring together a dynamic group of students and young professionals from higher educational institutions around the city, united by a shared passion for sustainability.
Our focus on community, commitment, and collaboration stems from our history of welcoming a diverse group of internationals and predominantly master students each year, who wish to get the most out of their time in our organisation. Our team is self-organizing, driven to create change, and values the engagement and proactivity necessary to build a thriving community.
We are critical and creative thinkers, responsible and detail-oriented, and always eager to hear from new members who bring along curiosity and their unique capabilities and approaches. We channel these characteristics into our projects, in our endeavour to create a positive impact on society.
