Making Renewable Energy Sustainable

  • Copenhagen Business School Solbjerg Plads 3 Frederiksberg, 2000 Denmark (map)

How can we ensure a truly sustainable energy transition? 💨🌿

Climate change is driving a sense of urgency as nations strive to reduce emissions, while political tensions heighten due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, further exacerbating the ongoing energy crisis. This volatile situation emphasises the need for a secure and sustainable energy supply to power our future.

In order to successfully navigate the energy transition for climate mitigation and secure energy independence, we must prioritise sustainability in all our actions. This includes decarbonizing the raw materials used in energy technologies, promoting material circularity, and fostering harmony between local communities and biodiversity.

We invite you to attend this Green Week session featuring Andrew Harwell from Vestas Wind Systems, a world leader in wind energy and one of Denmark's largest employers. Discover how this innovative company is spearheading a truly sustainable energy transition that encompasses all dimensions of sustainability.
