Tech for Climate - Hope or hype?

  • Copenhagen Business School Solbjerg Plads 3 Frederiksberg, 2000 Denmark (map)

Will technology save us from the dystopian threats of climate change, or is it doing more harm than good? 🌿

Join us for a unique panel discussion on the role of technology in combating the climate crisis, featuring science fiction writers Peter Watts, Klaus Æ. Mogensen, and Amdi Silvestri. These speakers bring a unique perspective to the discussion, with a deep understanding of science and technology, as well as the ability to imagine possible futures and alternative scenarios. By tapping into their insights, we can explore innovative solutions to the complex societal issues related to climate change.

During the panel, our speakers will discuss the technologies we are already using, what's on the horizon, and how these advancements may impact our future. Gain a broader perspective on the technical, cultural, and societal implications of climate change, and how different scenarios might play out in the future.

What is the role of technology in combating the climate crisis, and how can we work together to find innovative solutions to one of the greatest challenges facing our planet? Discover whether there is still hope for a sustainable future or whether we need to turn the science fiction of technological promises into a science fact of action.
